CBSE aims to ensure a smooth, transparent process for students submitting applications through the Post-Result Activities portal. The announcement follows growing concerns from students and parents about discrepancies found in the newly implemented Onscreen Marking System (OSM), where some students reported incorrect markings despite correct answers.
In response, a four-member expert team from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur will examine CBSE’s IT ecosystem and provide a confidential report. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has taken responsibility for the issues and assured that no student's query will be left unanswered.
So far, CBSE has scanned and digitally evaluated 98 lakh answer books. By May 26, over 4 lakh applications were received for scanned copies of answer sheets, with nearly 9 lakh provided digitally. Students with questions can reach out via the CBSE Tele-Counseling Helpline or email for support.
This move underscores CBSE’s commitment to maintaining high standards and addressing concerns transparently, aiming to restore confidence in the evaluation process for the Class 12 students and their families.
